NBA Weekend Recap

Over the weekend multiple NBA games took place and several players had outstanding performances in their games.

The Rockets continue to struggle as they dropped both games this weekend! Despite James Harden dropping 33 points and 8 assists the Rockets fell to the Pistons 116-111 in overtime. They weren’t able to overcome Griffin and Drummond who combined for 51 points and 29 rebounds. In their second game they fell to the Cavaliers of all teams. Harden had. 40 points and 13 dimes but the Rockets didn’t get enough from their role players. CP3 didn’t suit up in that game. The Rockets are now 9-9.

The Cavaliers didn’t just beat the Rockets, they took down the 76ers the day before. Something that seemed so improbable, all the odds stacked against them, they beat Philly and Houston on a back to back. Collin Sexton put together 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists on 10-18 shooting. And he followed that performance up with 29 points and 4 rebounds on 14-21 shooting. Sexton has got a ton of hate for his performance thus far but he showed flashes of greatness this weekend and led a horrid Cavs team to wins over the Sixers and Rockets. Sexton get player of the weekend from me.

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend, that’s it for this weekends NBA recap.
