Season three of the BIG3 recently concluded, yet the BIG3 basketball will continue this fall. Ice Cube and the BIG3 announced that select players and coaches will tour China and showcase their basketball skills.
The cities they’ll be attending are…
Shenzhen – November 2nd
Foshan – November 5th
Dongguan – November 7th
Ningbo – November 9th
Taiyuan – November 13th
Shanghai – November 15th
Macau – November 17th
If you are in China and want to experience the BIG3, make plans to see the action live! You have plenty of opportunity!
Nancy Lieberman of Power and George Gervin of Ghost Ballers will be coaching the BIG3 All-Stars around China!
We don’t know all of the players participating yet but we do know a few thanks to @Big3N3ws on Twitter relaying this crucial information.
I’ll list those players down below with their 2019 BIG3 stats!
Reggie Evans – 3 Headed Monsters – 11.3 PPG 10.8 RPG
Corey Maggette – Power – 19.6 PPG 6.6 RPG
Amar’e Stoudemire – Tri-State – 16.7 PPG 7.13 RPG
Will Bynum – Bivouac – 18.1 PPG 4.1 RPG
Stephen Jackson – Killer 3’s – 15.8 PPG 5.2 RPG
Rashard Lewis – 3 Headed Monsters – 12.5 PPG 5.8 RPG
David Hawkins – Trilogy – 13.8 PPG 4.7 RPG
Glen Davis – Power – 4.7 PPG 3.2 RPG
Who else do you want to see travel China and rep the BIG3 name? I think Craig Smith, Mike Taylor, and Franklin “Nitty” Session would be big time additions!
It was also rumored that Andre Emmett would be traveling to China with the BIG3. Unfortunately he passed away early on Monday after being shot multiple times. I really enjoyed watching Andre play these last few years, he was a prolific scorer with great confidence and was willing to do whatever he could to get 3’s Company a win. Andre was outstanding in 2018 when he led them all the way to the championship. All of us with the BIG3 and Young3 are shocked and saddened by his passing, he was a great person and it was a pleasure for all of us to work with him.
